Laura specialises in CTP insurance claims for major insurance companies

For more than nine years, Laura has been working in CTP insurance, specialising in claims involving procedural issues such as nominal defendant claims, late claims and claims involving s 151Z recovery actions brought by workers’ compensation insurers. Laura commenced her career with Allianz, one of the largest CTP insurers before practising in a regional location. With this background she brings her unique insight and expertise to the CTP team. Having access to all five NSW CTP insurers has helped Laura to understand the market and in particular, the aspects of claims management which is key to her clients.

Laura has a huge passion for community initiatives. She’s an active member of our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee; she recently travelled to Nepal to facilitate a Medical Camp and has previously volunteered at a Refuge Shelter in Thailand. Laura was recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow for her contribution to engaging younger people in community service and is a member of Darling Harbour Rotary.

In 2014, Laura was recognised in the Australasian Lawyer – Fifty Rising Stars, which features lawyers under the age of 30 who are making a name for themselves in the Australian legal market.
