Julie is an insurance specialist lawyer who has extensive experience advising insurers on a broad range of insurance matters

Julie has over 25 years of experience acting for insurers in property damage, public and product liability, D&O and professional indemnity claims. She advises on and litigates disputes relating to policy coverage, including failure to notify and claims conditions, aggregation and exclusion clauses, fraud and dishonesty.

Before moving to Australia in 2012 Julie was a partner in a large English firm where she acted for insurers and plaintiffs in public and product liability, property damage and professional negligence claims. She has particular expertise in professional negligence claims against lawyers, accountants, surveyors and construction professionals.

Julie is not only an experienced litigator, but is also a keen advocate of alternative dispute resolution and has extensive experience in facilitating the mediation process.
